Music
Technology
So
much of the music we hear these days is created using digital software
and hardware, such as sequencers, computers and MIDI equipment.
You can learn how to use this equipment and learn how to create
music using the latest digital tools. The Musical Works has links
with many studios in Sheffield and can set you up to experience
what happens in a real studio. You will have a go on software such
as Cubase and Logic Audio, and equipment such as samplers, mixing
desks. You could learn how to set up a studio for recording and
record you and your friends playing and singing, then burn it onto
CD and listen to it at home! You could also create beats, basslines
and riffs, mix them up and make a Top Ten hit! You could also create
a soundtrack for a film that you’ve made, using the simple
studio set-up that The Musical Works can provide for you.
